We decided to decorate earlier this year cuz the hubby will be leaving soon and I let him decorate the tree. Call me old fashioned but I still favor the traditional christmas ball designs,we had them since moved here.

Me too - I love traditional balls. Our tree is mostly made of balls and homemade crocheted ornaments. We probably won't be decorating until the end of November though. :)
It's ok, usually November din ako start magdecorate kaso hubby will be leaving at the middle of Oct. The reason maybe cheesy, pero come Christmas, I will remember him more every time I see the tree cuz I know he was the one who decorated it :(
Sis oks yan na ni-decorate nyo na para at least there was one christmas tradition you did with hubby and the complete family :) And we also use traditional balls like that sis back in Pinas. Yung dito may decor na konti yung christmas balls nila.
I like the simple decors, din. I do not own a Christmas Tree, and I like Christmas. Maybe I should get one.
