   I took this shot from a fireworks display of a nearby mall. There was a long program before  that which features so-so artists. Some of the kiddos we had with us were already sleepy, when they began,it was  worth the wait.

     A mall near us has an Eng Bee Tin stall and it's a good thing cuz I don't have to travel to Manila to satisfy my hopia cravings :)

  Went to the Block today with my sister and our kiddos to view the Lego exhibit. I had a lot of favorites but I'm feeling nationalistic today so I decided to post Luneta for my photo of the day :)

    It's almost the end of the year and I decided to organize all my billing statements and ORs. I always make it a point to do a general cleaning of the house before the year ends, i guess just to make fresh start for 2012 :)

   Mia was given an electric toothbrush by her ninang who is a dentist. We were laughing at first kasi she got scared when she turned it on.Then sa huli natuwa na rin siya and wouldn't stop. I guess I'll stock up on more batteries cuz I know it will be easily drained.

           We were able to watch Disney on Ice at the Araneta Coliseum today, We were 9 in all and we had so much fun kasi sobrang dami ng characters  this time like the Princesses and their partners, from Toy Story, Lilo and Stitch, Alice in Wonderland and from other Disney movies. This scene was the finale part na and of course Mickey and Minnie will always be the Stars of the show.  

   These were gifts we received that were wrapped from three different department stores . I liked it that they are coming up with more unique designs. Dati kasi sobrang boring yung mga designs, maybe because they wrapped your gifts for free kaya tinitipid nila yung wrapping paper nila.     

   A friend who visited China gave me this cute panda design key chain and a pair of chopsticks with a Great wall design, thanks Zaida :)

  Bought these Mcdo danglers, sayang out of stock si Bigmac.  They are too big to be a cellphone charm and I can't find any use for them. For now, they are just hanging in my xmas tree :D

 Who would have thought this would be so cheap,  I love the print design...girl na girl :D 

  My daughter's elementary annual finally arrived after 2 years. It was very simply made , adhering to Benedictine values of simplicity and frugality. 

  My 3 girlfriends together with our kids went to Enchanted Kingdom today.It was raining in the morning but the kiddos had the time of their lives enjoying the different rides. The weather improved by the afternoon and a lot more people arrived. We stayed till 6pm...bone weary yet in high spirits.Pwede na ring pang christmas lights na theme hahaha!

   I love the aroma of onion and garlic being sauteed. Pero with the times I was pregnant with my kids, I hated it. Talagang bumabaliktad ang sikmura ko. I guess this is normal for most pregnant mothers out there. Pero right now, I'm savoring it...weird ko talaga minsan hahaha!!

     I'm almost halfway through with my gift wrapping of presents...just hoping Mia wouldn't mess them up.

    One of the reasons to smile about on waking up early. Feeling the cool breeze in your cheek while holding a cup of hot coffee ..... waiting for Mr. Sun to come up :)

    Tried this today, vanilla with butterscotch dip and cookies and cream topping....so sulit for 25 pesos!!! 

   With the sun finally peeking , I have to finish up my mountain loads of laundry  today. We have very limited space for the clothes line kaya I have to take full advantage of the sun so they can dry up quickly.

    Finally tried Cebu Lechon, I guess it's ok for me. 

    This kept me busy today, I have finally decided to tackle on wrapping my xmas gifts today. I'm not really a good wrapper, heck I can't even make a simple paper bag :D

    Too lazy to cook today, we just ordered in at KFC. This was the only decent pic I had, my kiddos attacked on the  bucket as soon as it arrived :)

      As soon as Ira came home from camp, she brought with her 2 plastic bags filled with mud stained clothes and her sleeping bag. No choice but I have to make babad right away cuz some of them she wore nung Monday pa. Some of her socks I threw away na because I have no patience to make them white again, LOL

    This is what we had for breakfast today- Yum!!!

   Ira is off to camp for 3 days and 2 nights.  This is her bed and I'm sure gonna miss my trusty dishwasher :)

   My mommy gave me my old baby book, holy communion and confrmation certificates. Good  thing they are still ok up to now  cuz' they somehow remind you  of your childhood. 

     My latest find, The Laughing Cow cheese dip. It's colored white not like the usual yellow in other dips.It can also be used as a cheese spread but have yet to try it. What I like about it is hindi ito nakakaumay and malaki ang size niya kaya madami chips pwede  :)

   I forgot to put the iron setting to low and this is what happened to Ira's school blouse. Worse, she has to wear it today since her other blouses are already in the wash, buti na lang she didn't mind at all..

   My one wish for Christmas is to get a hold of a copy of The Script's Homecoming DVD set. I wasn't able to watch them live when they were here last April so it's just a little consolation for me to have this.I have no idea if this is available here. So far it is available only in Amazon on pre order......  

    Bought these cute sandals wherein you can make different styles by adding straps. Little did I know it was so hard pala to create them  kasi hindi ganun kadali ikabit sa gilid  yung mga straps plus yung mga lengths pa is alanganin. Here is the only thing I made haha!!! Will experiment more soon...

   My sister gave Mia this Jollibee  stool which she got as a giveaway when she attended a recent bday party. Isn't it cute? Frankly mas gusto ko mga  giveaways ng Mcdonald's over Jollibee but at least this one is a big improvement :)

   Today is a special day since we will be celebrating three birthdays in my sister's family... my 2 nephews and my Brother in law. This is Carlos' cake while Mikko had a Ben Ten cake. My sister bought this cakes from the cake vouchers she bought from a groupon site.

    Saw these very cute plastic chairs at Dimensione. 

   Can't wait for the Hunger Games movie.... made me all the more excited when I saw the trailer. This is the Vanity Fair photo of some of the tributes and Rue is definitely adorable, she really looks like what she was described in the book. Hay tagal pa ng March !!!!

   Made a Christmas wreath out of old garlands and colored balls and put them on my front door. I know it's very simple but  I just have very little imagination when it comes to these things. Sa lagay na to kinopya ko pa ito when I googled for some ideas. But still it wouldn't stop me from getting excited with the upcoming holidays :)

    While sorting out some old toys to be donated, I had misgivings in letting go Buzz and Woody. Even though Kyle is 12 now, this 2 toys had been with him since he was still a kid. Maybe because I just watched Toy Story 3  again last weekend also added to my dilemma. I think I'll hold out for a few more years...

     Mia's quirky preference when it comes to pasta...she only eats them plain, pag may sauce na ayaw na niya kaya when I'm cooking pasta dishes I make sure I set aside some for her before I toss in the sauce.

  This was Mia's shot, I kid you not!!! I left her alone watching Bubble Guppies while I was out back doing the laundry. She made more photos but this by far was the clearest among the lot. She was even so proud showing them to me :)

   

    During my teenage years , I absolutely love Archie comics. I love Betty more for him than Veronica . Ira has some comic books of her own and I'm glad she likes them like I did .

   Mandy has a very quirky behavior when it comes food. Everytime I throw at him scraps of food, he wouldn't eat them not unless he sees me leaving. Here in this photo, the bread had been there for about  a minute now but still he wouldn't touch it...because I'm there :)

   A funny quirk I have is after I take a bath, I immediately turn on the electric fan as soon as I enter our room. Natatawa nga si husband cuz siya naman baliktad kasi nanginginig siya sa lamig kaya pinapatay niya agad yung fan. It is a quirk for me  because like what I said on my previous posts. lamigin din ako pero hindi talaga maalis sa akin yan everyday. 

  A gift from my Tita from Canada... assorted jelly  berries. I super love them coz they are not that sweet at all  given the assorted flavors. The kids didn't like it much. So I guess they're all mine :)

   Me and 2 of my closest friends had our monthly girl bonding today. We had lunch at Banapple after hearing mass. I decided to eat less during breakfast to make way for Banapple's enormous servings. And it paid off..I finished my Hickory Smoked Ribs even the rice and corn kernels. Too bad  there was no more room for dessert. Later in the afternoon we  proceeded to Cravings to satisfy our sweet tooth  by availing their unlimited cake and coffee promo for only 150 pesos. For me, Banapple's cakes are much more  delish. Can't  wait for next month :)

  Another reason to celebrate today!! The Underground River was included in the new 7 wonders of the world. I'm proud to say I was one of the millions who voted . We went to Palawan 2 years ago and it was truly a majestic place.... you can't  literally see any trash lying around because of the the disciplined Palawenos. Hoping Manila is just like that..... 

  I found this 1cent coin today, I remember  we call them "mamera" and since it has very little value, they are being used mostly as "pantantos" during bingo games.  A fitting post for today's date :)

   I have no more household help for a week now. I thought  it would be difficult for me but I  guess I'm getting used to it now. But one thing I detest  is doing the laundry. Hay naku, magplantsa na lang ako, wag lang ako maglaba!!  The fact na Mia  will constantly bug me is taking me forever to finish them ..grrrrr!! 

   Mia is experiencing LBM today and I feel so helpless cuz there aren't any medicine like Lomotil for kids. The only thing you have to do is make sure you let them drink water with ORS ( Oral Rehydration Salts)  so they won't be dehydrated. But all my kids never liked the taste, lasang gamot pa rin daw. This is truly heaven sent for me since it just tastes like water only with added electrolytes. ....Halleluiah!!!
