Zooming In...

  Found this on my son's stash of Halloween treats...now who  in his right mind will name a candy and associate it  with lizard eggs..Ewww!!!

   It's that time of the year again ... and some kids sure leveled up with their costumes and make up this year. This girl won as one of the scariest, great job mommy!!!

   Another fave song is Bubbly by Colbie Caillat. Sorry for an unimaginative photo ha, These are soap suds from  the dishwashing liquid.

 One of my favorite songs kasi it tells of not being afraid of showing people who you are and don't give a damn what others think about you .

   We have this big roll of gauze, as in big na parang kasing haba ng arm natin. We were thinking of a Mummy costume for Mia for the Trick or Treat .It would probably turn out  great kaso ang worry ko lang is baka sobrang init eh pawisin pa naman si Mia....

     Today I shuffled my 80's playlist and got Timbuk 3's The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades. This is not an easy shot as Mandy keeps on removing the shades, but he still looks terribly adorable :)

    This made me smile when I saw Krispy Kreme's Halloween Decor, parang silhouettes ng bats on the ceiling :) 

    I had my Mcdo fix today after waiting for the kids' dismissal from school. I know I'll be waiting a while so I brought with me my  latest book. I'm right now greatly interested with The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare. This book "City of Glass" is Book  #3 and I just finished it in 2 days :)

   Ira had her recollection today in one of the retreat houses here in Antipolo, Alagad ni Maria Seminary.  I was so in love with this place, it has a big area mostly filled with trees and grottos. That is their newly built chapel and it would be a  great idea if we attend mass here every sunday, it would probably be a very solemn ceremony. 

  I'm still practicing my silhouette shot. I was focusing on the tree and after the shot was made, I was more amazed with the golden light from the setting sun. 

  This is the silhouette of my wind chime which I already featured on Day 106. Silhouettes are  a challenge since you have to capture it on the right time of the day to get the correct lighting. But still I'm grateful to Sis Joanne for the theme because I am being inspired to finish this project. There were days when I want to give up and just post very mediocre shots. I'm happy I'm getting my groove back  :)

  It wasn't written on any elaborate  paper, but what's inside it is truly special to me. My husband gave this to me as I was dropping him off at the airport.Although I wouldn't be seeing him until June next year , I know time will fly by so fast that before I know it, I'll be picking him up again soon :)

   We are spending our last day together at the mall today since the hubby will be leaving tomorrow back to his work overseas. When we passed by an inflatable tent  booth, Mia wanted to play so I went with her and took this shot inside the tent. She was enjoying it so much that when her time was up, she was crying when we have to leave the booth.

 Saw these cute boots at Shopwise , tapos may mga Barbie pa na designs. It would be perfect for Mia but the sizes are too big for her. Besides, it's not raining as much anymore so I guess I'll pass for now :)

  My  2 nephews are sleeping  over today, and I was surprised when Carlos asked me to make them some churros , I told him I don't know how.Then he pulled out from his bag a box of churros mix and a separate pack for the chocolate for dipping . He even brought with him his mom's piping bag , talk about being prepared.Well, my first attempt was quite successful...it's not Dulcinea but with kids it's still A-OK with them :)

   Following  Faith's In my closet post, I also decluttered all the cabinets including hubby's and the kids for some old clothes, blankets and towels and I was able to almost fill up two sacks. They will now be given to their school as donations for the flood victims in Bulacan. I should be doing this thing more often, as what Faith said, at least I know they are put to good use :)

  We tried out Chic-Boy today, I ordered their liempo which is one of their bestsellers, and hubby ordered the chicken inasal (pecho) . Both are equally good and the liempo was well seasoned. It comes with unlimited rice and just add 25 pesos for unlimited iced tea. This is their condiments  in each table. The next photo was the one I ordered:

  It's a good thing that Antipolo has finally  took a step further to a greener  city. It was long overdue but still at least it's happening :)

    Ira was so serious with her sketching that she didn't realize me taking a photo of her. She doesn't really like it when I zoom in on her kaya I opted to do a stolen shot. 

   Yes i made it!! I finally accomplished my first road trip driving from Manila to Tarlac, a little below 100 kilometers . This photo was taken at a toll gate when we exited the SCTEX  on the way to Concepcion, my mommy's hometown . It was such a rush, I was trying to go over 100 km/hr but I'm scared I might be pulled over for overspeeding.  

   We redeemed this pillows which I  bought at a groupon site a month ago. They were  a treat in a way because I have been experiencing neck pain na rin in the morning so I had to replace my old pillows. So far so good, I slept like a  log :p

  A treat for Mia, we took her to Araneta to watch Disney Live. She had such a blast especially on the Toy Story part of the program.

  Hubby made this for our lunch today... Penne in olive oil and fresh tomato!!! Thanks Papa!!!  

   I'm  experiencing abdominal cramps since my it's the first day of my period, so I  bought Coke to relieve it, it always works for me, I guess you can say it's my "treat" na rin  :)

   

  Pardon me for my lack of imagination, was actually trying out a different angle but it didn't work.  

   Our little girl was so desperately wanting to go outside and play  under the heavy downpour with her sister and papa, but we wouldn't let her get wet because she just  recovered from  the cough and cold, poor baby .. maybe next time ok?

  We decided to decorate earlier this year cuz the hubby will be leaving soon and I let him decorate the tree. Call me old fashioned but I still favor the traditional christmas ball designs,we had them since moved here.

  With Pedring looming, hubby and I decided to do our grocery shopping early.  I saw this in a small tub which costs  30 pesos only. I got intrigued  by it cuz it was especially created by the owner of Bizu. The verdict.... I wish I bought it in a bigger tub :)

    These are the last few pieces of the Ube hopia  that we bought at the trade fair in Megamall yesterday. I miss this so much, It's been such a long time.....

  This is my niece  Sophia  while we were a t Toy Kingdom, we were surprised cuz she was mostly  spending her time  on the educational books section than at the toys section... good girl!! More books for you this christmas from me :)
