Zooming In...

    I decided to do some decluttering today and I started on my bills and SOAs from 5 years past. Since I don't have a paper shredder , I decided to do it old school with my good old pair of scissors :)

   Went back to my doctor today and with my recent urinalysis, I found out I still have some of the bacteria from the UTI that I was confined from . He decided on having my wiwi cultured to identify the exact bacteria so that he can prescribe the exact antibiotic. With the results  a week from now, I just have to drink more water and stay away from anything salty.... mahirap to....

  This is our water fountain right in front of our house near the door. My husband and I believe in feng shui and   there is something relaxing when you hear the water pouring down in a continuous cycle.

  I  took this photo of Ira smiling at her papa when she "checked" him at Chess, she eventually won. :) 

   There is only one  Hap Chan branch that hubby and I usually go to ... their original branch in Binondo. Every visit we order from the menu that we haven't tried yet but one item will always be our staple....fried squid in salt and pepper. We have been going to Hap Chan for as long as I can remember but this bestseller has never changed a bit in taste. Definitely one of the reasons that make me smile :)

   This is hubby's race watch. He ran today at the AXN run and he was pretty satisfied with his personal time. I was supposed to join this event but I haven't gotten my strength back kaya I decided not to push through with it.

   A mall near where we live have this giant electric fans on their ceiling, probably thinking of an eco theme. What's funny was on the few times I've been here, I never see these fans rotating, probably the mall put them for aesthetic purposes only :)

   Ira painted her bedroom ceiling with her handprints using poster paint. I would have been mad if it were a bit messy but surprisingly I liked it. Ira has always been very creative and loves to sketch. She definitely didn't get it from me coz I don't have a creative bone in my body :)

   I love photography and flowers. Since I'm not allowed to go out  for now. I decided to busy myself capturing photos of flowers in my garden. 

   I love to read. Since I'm still saving up for an e book reader I 'm quite satisfied reading from hubby's netbook. Right now I'm reading Prophecy of the Sisters.... will probably finish this in one seating and go on to Guardian of the Gate (book 2)

     Finally had a go signal from my doctor. I miss my kiddos sooo much .....

  Never had Mcdonald's been so tempting as now when I can't eat not even one from their menu. I'm on a soft low salt diet . What made it even more irresistible is that this branch can be seen from my hospital window. Buti na lang ok yung food from the hospital  but still Mcdo pa rin ang mas masarap :)

   I was admitted to the hospital early in the morning today. I have no idea that my UTI had already spread to my kidneys and I was throwing up all the food that i can barely manage to eat. I was so dehydrated that I had 5 bags of IV solution during my stay.

   I have no picture for today because I was so sick during this time. Hoping I wouldn't miss another day again.

   Haaay... I need a long vacation. A scene from Charlie's Angel's comes to mind just lazing around on the beach with any refreshing drink  is fine by me......

    This is a slice of my birthday cake. I've been reading positive reviews about this at GT.  I find the caramel a bit too sweet for my liking but my kids absolutely love it :)

   This is the newly opened SB right next to the Cathedral. The priests were openly against it, not only because of SB but the whole building in which it is situated. They said it losses the sanctity of the Church. But the local government  thinks otherwise. I grew up with the old Antipolo kaya I have mixed feelings. 

   I've been craving for this salad for a few days now, so when we bought our groceries yesterday, I just bought a ready made Ceasar dressing bottle and made them today for lunch...actually this was my lunch na :)  

   

   Took a picture of my hubby while walking along the corridor of the sports park where we usually jog... so creepy!!

   I never knew that a 7th birthday party now has lots of inclusions in the program like 7 candles, 7 wishes, 7 cars , etc. Grabe dati the  program  lang before was  games, then eating time tapos blowing of the birthday cake na. Ngayon parang Debut celebration :)  In this picture, these are 7 lolas holding 7 candles for the celebrant as he blows his cake :)

   With September being Mama Mary's birth month, we went on a Marian Procession today after the 6pm mass.

     My eldest asked me why there is a green banana on the same "piling" as the yellow ones, i told her it's a late bloomer :)

   We bought it for my daughter's book report . And being a bookworm like me, she just finished it overnight. When I asked her ow was it, she said it made her cry a lot of times and wanted to buy other titles from the same author. Will start reading this today and will probably be bawling out  later :) 

  

    I have been constantly hearing the sound  of my wind chime the whole day as the weather is still windy. It may be cheap but I always feel relaxed and in peace when it chimes. I'll buy more to put all in the corners of the house :) 

   With the weather pretty much ruining the long holiday, we resigned to just go to the mall with the whole family. It was a big mistake!! Grabe sobra daming tao, marami ata hindi nag out of town and had the same idea of staying here in Manila. Nevertheless, the kids enjoyed themselves watching Cars 2 and  playing at Timezone. Here is a picture of Mia and the hubby (again) while riding the carousel. 

     Our couch was the same age as our house, around 6 years and it was in need of repairs. With Mia constantly jumping on it,the couch seat gave way and the nails were exposed. Good thing we have a very reliable upholsterer in the village and we had it repaired and repainted to a beautiful choco brown color. It's former color was beige and it didn't stand out as it has the same color as the walls.
