Day 25: Viva El Tomasino

June 10, 2011
I have been looking for the longest time for this limited P200 bill with the UST Quadricentennial logo. Being a proud alumnus, I was there last February for their grandiose celebration  with my batchmates, reliving our college years and was awe struck on the changes around the campus the last time we were there. But then again, it has been 17 years  :)

Buti na lang sis you were able to find one :) I love UST. Although hindi siya alma mater ko. Pero since I was young, gusto ko talaga siya kasi I have cousins who studied there from elementary tapos parang at that time, yun lang ang school na alam ko. Does that make sense? Haha.. I only started looking up other schools nung 3rd year yata ako. Pero parang UST has always had a special place in my heart. Kaya lagi ko vini-visit mga barkada ko non who went to UST. Tapos sarap pa ng simbang gabi pag first day dun sa open field nyo. Hehe :)

It does make sense sis :) Ako nga I survived commuting for 4 yrs daily from Antipolo to UST but that didn't bother me. Di pa uso LRT at FX ata nun. Noong malapit na graduation, nalulungkot kami kasi ayaw pa namin umalis. I guess most of us feel the same way kahit saan pa sila nag aral. But like you, UST for me too has a special place in my heart :)

When I was in 4th yr, I only applied sa UP and UST. I passed the exams to both school and sa UST accounting dapat ako. Kaso papa ko dream nya na sa UP ako mag-aral so dun ako napunta. Pero sayang talaga..nanghihinayang pa din ako paminsan minsan whenever I think of UST. Grabe sis from antipolo! Layo nga. Tagal malamang ng commute mo that time.

Same pala tayo sis, UP and UST lang ang inaaplayan kaso hindi ako pinalad sa UP kasi quota course pinili ko :)

Sis nadoble pala yung comment ko. Inerase ko yung isa. Kasi nag-hang kanina after I posted the other comment. Hehe :)

Ay sayang naman yung sa UP. Medyo mahirap nga pag quota course. Pero at least sa UST ka pa din!! Masaya pa din. :D

Hi sis. I'm also a proud thomasian alumna. I envy you that you were there during the Quadricentennial celebrations. I haven't been at the grounds since 2007. I want to visit it again soon. :)
