These are nuts from an Areca tree growing in my garden. It is more commonly called as "nganga" and when I was little, I heard it was widely used for chewing by the old folks,a little bit addictive causing a lot of colored/broken teeth. I wouldn't dare chew one, I'm keeping it for decorative purposes :)

I never really knew what 'nganga' looks like until now. They look like nuts. :P
